Dr. Prakash Babani

Dr. Babani is a psychiatrist with an interest in late-life mood disorders and treatment-resistant mood disorders, serving as the co-lead for the Brain Intervention Clinic at William Osler Health System in Brampton, Ontario.

He has an interest in medical education, serving as the Psychiatry Education Lead at William Osler Health System.  He holds academic appointments at The University of Toronto and at McMaster University.

Dr. Babani obtained his medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia.  

Dr. Babani completed his residency in general psychiatry from the University of Ottawa, followed by geriatric sub-specialty training at the University of Toronto.
